Christmas Appeal for Salvation Army

As every year, St George’s is collecting gift bags for the local Salvation Army. You can drop items off at church until the 15th December. Please call the church to make sure someone will be there to receive items.

These gift bags are given out to the homeless and vulnerable people that the Salvation Army feeds and serves as part of its ministry in Barcelona. For that, they request:

1. MEN’S CLOTHING
Donations of men’s clothing would be most appreciated.

2. WARM CLOTHING ITEMS
Gloves, scarves, hats, warm socks, etc would be excellent.

3. SLEEPING BAGS and/or BACKPACKS

4. FACE MASKS

5. FOOD ITEMS AND TREATS
Nothing that expires soon or needs refrigeration, such as long-life food, turron and biscuits (cookies).
