El Trio Granados in Concert

El Trio Granados, consisting of Miquel Muñiz (violin), Carmela Cristos (cello) and Kalle Peura (piano), will be performing a concert at St George’s Church on Thursday 29th April at 6:30pm.

All COVID safety measures will be followed.

The trio are alumni of the Centro Superior de Música Liceu. In January 2020, they won first prize in the Ceren Necipoglu Harp and Chamber Music International Competition in Istanbul (pictured below).

Their program is as follows:

Beethoven, piano trio no. 5 in D Major “Ghost”, op. 70 no. 1

I Allegro vivace e con brio

II Largo assai ed espressivo

III Presto

Brahms, piano trio no. 3 in C minor op. 101

I Allegro energico

Granados, piano trio in C major op. 50

I Poco allegro con espressione

II Scherzo

III Duetto

IV Finale

The concert is free, though donations are welcome.

Space will be limited so please register in advance if you would like to attend, following the usual protocols on attending church in person.
