Friday, 25th October, 7:30-10pm
Are you a musician or know a musician who would like to perform? What about creative writing? Do you write poetry, lyrics or stories?
If so, we would love to hear from you, as St George’s organises “An Evening of Words and Music” on Friday, 25th October, at 7:30pm.
Classical, jazz, folk, rock: all musical styles are welcome. The music will be interspersed with literary readings: poetry, an excerpt from a play, a passage from a novel or a short story which you particularly like or have written yourself. The works can be either sacred or secular. Just let us know in advance, so we can try to include it in the programme.
If you don’t want to read the work yourself, we can find someone else to do it for you. For that reason, let us know if you would be willing to serve as a reader.
To participate, please contact Rachel (firstname.lastname@example.org).
We are really looking forward to an amazing evening!
