There will be two in-person services on Sunday 6th December (Advent 2): one at 10am and the other at 11:15am with a Youth Bible Study.
You must register to attend the service in person: email firstname.lastname@example.org or you can ring the church office on 93 417 8867.
The deadline for registering is 7pm on the Friday before the Sunday you plan to attend. Alternatively, if you attend on a Sunday you can register then for the following Sunday. If a service is full, you will be asked to move to another service. You are only registered when you receive a confirmation email. Entry is still via the back garden gate. Any last-minute changes to the Sunday services will be communicated to those who are registered.
Our Virtual Services continue to be available online here.

NOTE: Starting this Sunday, we will not be preparing a service video in advance. Instead, we will record the 10am service live and then post it directly onto YouTube afterwards, so people can watch it at home if they cannot manage to come to church in person. We are also planning to livestream services in the future.
Virtual Coffee Time at 5pm. Prepare a coffee or tea at home, perhaps some cake too, and connect with others in the St George’s community via Zoom. To join, you should have received the Zoom link in the weekly church email. If not, please contact Rachel Nelson or Revd John Chapman and they can share the link with you.
Donate: St George’s needs your ongoing support, as our costs continue even when we cannot meet together physically. We have now made online giving easier. Go to our Giving page and you can now make an online donation through DonorBox.
Also please donate items for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Breakfast, serving vulnerable and homeless people in Barcelona. The deadline for donations is Thursday 10th December.
This year the annual Fayre cannot be held as usual, but St George’s is planning to do something different instead. You can order baked goods and preserves (limited quantities available) and/or a raffle ticket for a Christmas hamper, vouchers and other prizes. For that, donations are being sought, including bottles of cava/wine, chocolates/sweets/biscuits, fruit, etc. Other raffle prizes are also requested, such as vouchers from a local small business, shop or restaurant. Please email email@example.com about donations and to place your orders. Donations can be left at church, clearly labelled, until 13th December.
Nine Lessons and Carols
Also, preparations are underway for an online Nine Lessons and Carols service on Sunday 20th December. Sherry Blackford and Carolina Paschalides are organising this. Arrangements are being made so that those without computer access can come to church and still participate. Watch this space!
