Youth Outreach

Youth Worship Service

On every second Sunday of the month, there will be a youth-only worship service held at the same time as the regular service, either on the rooftop or in the top flat, depending on the weather and/or the number of youth present.

Friday Movie Nights

Once a month, parents are welcome to drop off their children (and any friend they would like to invite) from 7:30pm until 10pm for a movie with pizza, popcorn and drinks provided. See EVENTS CALENDAR for date of next Movie Night.

Occasional Activities

In December 2012 St George’s youth group raised 60 euros through selling cakes after the church service and then used the money to bless homeless people in Barcelona. In this video, they share their thoughts and reflections, in between clips of them in action. To respect the identities of the homeless people, none is featured in the video.

SAFEGUARDING POLICY

The protection of children and other vulnerable groups is a matter of top priority for our church. St George’s requires that all pastoral care visitors, Sunday School teachers, regular volunteers, youth leaders and all paid staff, clergy and readers have been properly vetted and will only allow those people who produce a clear certificate to work with children and other vulnerable groups. All volunteers and paid staff will be given appropriate training in safeguarding vulnerable groups, together with the necessary guidance and supervision.
